Used Cooking Oil vs Used Engine Oil in India: Different Laws, Different Buyers

Used cooking oil and used engine oil are both 'waste oil' in everyday speech and almost nothing alike in law. RUCO governs kitchen oil. CPCB used-oil EPR and hazardous-waste rules govern lubricants. BioTradX trades both as separate categories.

UCO follows FSSAI RUCO. Used engine oil follows hazardous-waste and CPCB EPR rules. Never mix them. How BioTradX lists both.

Kitchen oil

TPC 25 percent, 50 litres/day records, authorised RUCO aggregator, biodiesel plants. Search: sell used cooking oil, RUCO, UCO collection.

Engine oil

Authorised recycler, no food-chain story, re-refining or authorised recovery. Search: sell used engine oil, CPCB recycler. Dealer example: Globe Toyota x BioTradX, see I Am Renew and ET Auto.

The mixing failure

One drum with both is unsellable to serious buyers and can contaminate a tanker. Hotels with a basement workshop make this mistake.

List correctly

Two listings. Two buyer pools. Two document packs.
