Globe Toyota recycles workshop oil through BioTradX.
Globe Toyota, part of JCBL Group, partnered with BioTradX so used engine oil from authorised service centres is collected, measured, and handed to licensed recyclers instead of an informal tanker. Independent auto, manufacturing, and sustainability outlets reported the model.
What changed
Used engine oil from a dealership pit is hazardous waste. Selling it for cash with no weighment and no recycler papers is still common. Globe Toyota treated it as an operations problem: closed tanks, authorised offtake, and a digital handover on BioTradX.
That is why the coverage exists. Journalists had a named dealer, a named waste stream, and a named platform. JCBL published the release. Trade titles then wrote the aftersales and CSR versions.
Used cooking oil from kitchens is a different programme (FSSAI RUCO). Do not mix the two. BioTradX lists both as separate categories.
