Sell Paddy Straw and Stubble Biomass in India

Paddy straw is India's most visible agri residue problem. Selling stubble as biomass on BioTradX connects farmer aggregators with Bio-CNG plants, pellet units, and boilers that can take straw bales.

Sell paddy straw and stubble in India to Bio-CNG, pellet, and boiler buyers. How BioTradX helps aggregators in Punjab, Haryana, and the rice belt.

Why paddy straw is hard to sell

Low bulk density, high silica, short harvest window, and competing uses (fodder in some regions). Buyers need baled, dry straw at a known pin code. Loose heaps in the field rarely clear a commercial RFQ.

Who buys straw

Bio-CNG and CBG plants, some pellet plants blending straw, brick kilns in limited cases, and projects tied to stubble-management policy. Specs differ. Do not assume one buyer fits all lots.

What to put on the listing

Bale weight, moisture, district, tonnes available in the next 30 days, and whether loading is on-field or at a shed. BioTradX RFQs from CBG plants are the high-intent buyers.

Policy context

State incentives for stubble management change every season. A marketplace does not replace those schemes. It is the commercial offtake layer when a plant needs tonnes, not a subsidy form.
