Steps to operate as a used cooking oil aggregator under FSSAI RUCO: NFP authorisation, FBO collection, and using BioTradX to source and sell UCO.

Legal position

FSSAI enrols NFP units (biodiesel, soap, lubricant makers). Those units authorise collection agencies. Aggregators should be able to show the NFP enrolment and their own authorisation letter at the FBO gate.

The RUCO traceability application was built so FBOs, aggregators, and NFP units can log transactions. Use it. A marketplace does not replace it. It feeds it with organised volume.

Operating model

Route planning, drum logistics, quality check (water, food solids), and a plant offtake contract. Without offtake, collection is just storage risk.

How BioTradX fits aggregators

Find new FBO sellers via listings. Sell consolidated tankers to plants via RFQs. Keep each hop documented so origin is not lost in a mixed drum.

Start

If you already collect UCO, create an aggregator profile on BioTradX and link your authorised NFP buyer.
